From the origins of the National Freight Consortium and with over 150 man-years of development DRIVE was born.

In 1990 the original Management Team behind DRIVE acquired FCS Computer Services from the recently privatised National Freight Consortium. A new business was established called FCS, and it launched its first ORACLE solution called Servitor, which became a leading solution to the Direct Services Organisations within local government. The success of the Servitor product and the expertise gained in the creation of Software to Manage Local Government Fleet requirements led to the creation of the initial DRIVE Fleet Management Software product.

In 2002 the business was acquired and became Drive Software Solutions a privately owned UK business dedicated to the delivery of Vehicle Management, Contract Management and Leasing solutions to owners of large fleets of vehicles and complex assets.

2018 DSSL launched the SaaS solution following extensive research into the automotive fleet management sector and the knowledge gained from the observations of the detailed trend analysis of their major clients.

2019 the business was acquired by new owners VIVA Investment Partners, who have established a dynamic team of sector expertise to take the business forward as a major supplier in the changing automotive Mobility Ecosystem.

Drive Software Solutions Ltd are the creators and suppliers of the DRIVE Fleet Management, Leasing and Mobility software product - a single generic product that can support vehicle management requirements worldwide.

Today DRIVE operates in 8 countries and is trusted by some of the biggest operators in the world.

Experienced and dedicated to DRIVE, our senior management team have the knowledge and capacity to keep DRIVE and our clients ahead of the field.
